Ing. Mgr. Jana Brodani LL.M., MBA. Before joining the Association in 2008, she worked in the area of legal and tax consulting. Since 2009, she has been Executive Director of the Czech Capital Market Association. In addition to the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, she graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University, LL.M. at the University of London in the UK and a postgraduate program – MASTER Management et Administration des Entreprises (French equivalent MBA) at the French-Czech Management Institute (IFTG). She is currently a PhD student at the Department of Finance of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics. Since 2009 he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), where she represents the Czech Republic. Since 2017 he has been managing the activities of CFA Society Czech Republic.
She is a co-author of the Commentary on the Investment Companies and Investment Funds Act and author of a number of professional publications. She initiated and participated on the preparation of the Strategy for the Capital Market Development in the Czech Republic, which was approved by the Government of the Czech Republic in 2019 and regularly participates on the drafting of the Czech capital market legislation and the implementation of European legislation. At the European level, she contributes to current regulatory issues and regularly lectures at domestic and international conferences. She has long been devoted to the topics of investing of women, development of capital markets in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, and retirement savings.
